Ms Judi Nwokedi is the Chairperson of Gauteng Tourism Authority and has served on the Board of SA Tourism. President Ramaphosa appointed Ms Nwokedi as a member of the Presidential Council on State Owned Entity Reform in 2021. (12 members). Currently, she is the Director of Tourvest Holdings and Chief Sustainability Officer. Before, she was the senior vice president of Areva, the leading global nuclear energy generation company, and remains the President of the South African Nuclear New Build Company. She also held the following positions in her career, Managing Director of Motorola South Africa and Managing Director of the SABC’s public broadcasting. In addition, Ms Judi was responsible for conceptualizing and launching LoveLife, the internationally renowned youth HIV/AIDS prevention program. Life In Exile 1984 – 1994. Judi worked for the Australian Government as a development strategist for the New South Wales Department of Sports, an advisor to the Australian Correctional Services and National HIV/AIDS program in the Department of Housing and Community Affairs. She was a research advisor to the five judges appointed to the Royal Commission into Aboriginal deaths in custody. Ms Judi holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cape Town and has been certified in several courses from the University of Sydney, Harvard University, and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She serves on numerous Boards. And is the outgoing Secretary General of the Black Business Council. She joined FWF in 2016 to become of the three female executive producers, having produced content for Television, Streaming, and Cinema over the last 30 years.
