Cannes Film Festival 2026

Carolyn Carew attended the 2026 Cannes Film Festival in May, participating in the Producers Network, a curated group of around 104 producers selected based on recent theatrical releases.

During the nine-day market, she attended industry breakfasts and meetings with leading sales agents, financiers, funders, and co-producers, including Goodfellas, Charades, Protagonist Pictures, Cinetic, and The Impact Fund.

She also pitched several feature films in development, including Into the Mind of Dawie and The Quiet Between Us, along with other projects seeking financing and co-production partners across South Africa’s 12 co-production treaty territories. The attendance provided extensive international networking opportunities and productive industry engagement across the global film market.
